    Sorry folks a little blog today. I think I have the reverse midas touch. After dinner last night I came home to my TiVo stuck on the startup screen, it's fried. I never realized how much I like having this thing... anyway. I show up to work this morning and the office has no power! I break into the telco room and find a tripped breaker, ok power is back. Start powering up machines and the Exchange server is 'F'ed. 100+ entries in the event viewer DAMN IT! An hour later the box fixed, I sit down at my machine and BAMO! Virii! WTF! So 2 hours later, machine disinfected and I get a phone call from UTHSC on a website I built for them. It's not working and they want to know why since they are writing me a check TODAY! No prob I'll just log in and check it... ACCESS DENIED... WTF! A few phone calls and a "oh yea we moved that to a new machine and a new OS". I get it back just in time to go to my presentation at some meeting hall. I'm not speaking but I will be in front of 100 or so people... we get there and "what do you mean the internet connection is down?" ughhh After watching 4 people look at the computer like a chicken looking at a card trick for about 30 minutes I cleared them out and configured it myself. Mission accomplished... I'm beat ...

    I'm off to buy a new Tivo now... WTF it's only money!
