DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! Ok I was pissed about NASCAR going from a good 'ol boy network to the mainstream media, I was down on FOX when they took over, I thought D.W. was a blowhard, I thought damn it no Benny Parsons no Ned Jarrett... this is gonna S U C K, but hey I'll admit when I'm wrong D.W. toned it down a bit FOX brought enthusiasm and cool technology! That tracking thing rocked! Zoom ahead to race 17 4th of July weekend... Pepsi 400 ie... Daytona race 2! The return to the final resting place of number 3, godspeed, and the hand off to NBC... uh oh! Yes NBC test broadcast last year royaly sucked but hey this time around they got some veterans, Benny Parsons among them... but will we here in Houston get to see it ... N O !!!!!! NBC in thier infinite wisdom has decided to show the Texas Beauty Pagent instead of the NASCAR race... nope not even a replay... I guess Houston being the 4th largest city in the nation doesn't count... way to go NBC damn it! Ok my entry for the day... officialy 4 months from now is Halloween, I better get busy...
The family went to Mom and Dad's for lunch yesterday and I took Dade swimming, and for the first time he jumped in and swam across the pool by himself, I am usually right there in case he panics but he made it fine without me, he was very proud.
I put my Frigit on the fridge in the office this morning... pretty damn cool!
We watched the QAF pilot episode special edition last night very cool... you gotta love the music in this show... I'm jamming to it right now! Hopefully this show won't go the way my other fav shows have...like Sports Night and Freakylinks... I'm looking for Freakylinks episodes if anyone has them...
