Thought I might back blog a little here... work is overwhelming these days. Sometimes I wonder why I do it. Anyway, a couple of weeks before Christmas Angie went in to get her a new BMW. Now she's been dreaming of this ages, a 328i with Nav and Comfort Access. Anyway none of these are to be had with these features so she arranges to nab one off the boat, it shuold be here in a week or so. Zoom ahead a week and nope now it's another week and probably not before Christmas. She is pissed! Anyway a few days before Christmas she get's a call the car is coming in on the 24th... a Sunday! Damn it! so after Christmas. next day it's a miracle it's going to be ready on the 23rd!!! yea!!! All of this time the guy at BMW is worried about the mileage she is putting on her trade. To bad she has to go to work right... so the day comes and I have shopping to do so we are going in seprate cars, I will go my way afterwards. We leave the neighborhood and I think I wonder if she has the title... whip out the mobile, call her up, ring ring ring, BAM! I'm hit!!!
She was looking down for her phone and drove up my ass. I drive off her car pull over. Hood mangled, bumper has 2 holes in it and the license plate is ripped from it's mounting. Oh man I feel like crap I caused this... it's easily $1500 in damage. Angie is amazingly calm. We press on the car is running no fluid is dripping... head on. I was sure I had sunk her deal and no trade and we are f'd. It's an insurance job and then a trade and etc etc... but BMW said $500 more ... "Where do we sign!"
She got her car that day and it is fine fine fine! Glad it worked out I was pretty gutted there for a bit.
